£140.00

A Tennis Ball

Circa ’93

A Milk Bar Production. David Lloyd Centre, Heston, Middlesex

Only Nicky Holloway could come up with ‘the umpire strikes back’ as a strap line. Paul (Leftfield) Daley, Brandon Block headlining with Nicky Holloway along with Johnny Walker and the legend that is Alfredo.

Originally: Mostly hand drawn, two-colour artwork, black with yellow spot colour, printed on A5 satin white card.

Loud’n’Leary - Milk Bar

Circa ’91

Lisa Loud and Lynn Cosgrove sharing the honours with Mr Holloway. Drinks going cheap, even for a Monday night.

Originally: Hand-drawn one-colour graphic from quick sketch design on cream paper. It was rejected… The final version was straightforward, very conservative, and typeset. Guess which one was featured in a book on flyers a few years later.

Giclee print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Paper.

Edition of 50.

Please note, all prints are produced digitally using high-resolution scans from original flyers. These however, were produced using pre-digital processes. Whilst care has been taken to ‘clean up’ various imperfections, the original quality has been retains thus lettering/text is not always ‘pin-sharp’.
